Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows and punches).
